Buescher 'Truetone'    - Originally thought to be gold-plate, but the concensus is now that it's just gold lacquer - with  front-F    -   Rare late model  s/no 232xxx 1926/7.    £575 

With more modern keywork variations, normal 'long' palm high Eb instead of the  earlier 'button', and small spatula RH alt-F#.  Some lacquer rubbed back to brass on bow and neck, but, as a bonus, traces of a darker 'burnished' effect can be seen on the action.  Tan snap-in pads in vgc.  Great playing horn.  Includes Buescher case, and original mouthtpiece plus lig.
