Conn C-Melody sax, serial number 56085, circa 1919-20.
Bright silver plate with gold-wash bell. LP (A=440) Body is in great shape - ideal restoration project. One too many for me. The top half of the bell has been cleaned, just to show the effect, the rest will clean easily to make a beautiful sax, Only sign of repair that I can see is a very sound solder reinforcement to the neck joint, which should tidy up as well as the silver. Photo's of that repair are included below.
Note this model has the extra 'front-F' key (the top pearl) for producing high E and F with more clarity, and other altissimo notes.
 
   
 
   

Will require attention to the pads and cork to be playable, this sax is being offered as a project.
